Park your car and forget it! Great dining, entertainment and shopping in walking distance. My wife and I (along with 8 friends) thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the owners. The time unwinding in the courtyard with the owners and our friends was the perfect balance to the time spent around the french quarter.

This is the perfect location to stay on Bourbon Street. I have stayed there once is August 2013 for Southern Decadence and in January of this year (2016) to meet up with friends. I stayed in the 2 bedroom suite both times and it was perfect for 4 adults. You have to share a bathroom but we never had any...

We stayed here in March and the price was ideal. Chuck was so nice and welcoming. Our room was a decent size and clean when we arrived. The bed spread was a little worn down, but the sheets were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was not huge but had everything we needed. The shower curtain needed to be replaced, but...

This was a wonderful guest house in a safe part of Bourbon Street. My room (the slave room) was a bit small for more than just one, but I had a kitchen and everything for the short time I spent in my room; plus I was just off the courtyard so I could have my morning coffee outside and very...

This place is at the ‘east’ end of Bourbon St away from most all of the hustle and bustle. That means it is relatively quiet, except for the occasional group walking by. And when they go by – if you have the room we had (the Victorian Suite)– you will hear them because this room was at ground level right...

First time in New Orleans and we feel so lucky to have found this cozy, safe, adorable studio room. It's placed conveniently where all the action is but, away from all the noise and craziness of Bourbon St! The owner Chuck was very welcoming and charming. Trust me when I say, this is the place to stay!

With great fortune we found this place when looking for a place to stay. It's on the somewhat quiet side of Bourbon Street, but very near all the action. Very nice rooms, and a nice courtyard. My rate was great so I assume you will find this reasonable any time.

We loved staying here. Fantastic location. The court yard makes the stay even more enjoyable with the water fountain and the beautiful flowers. Loved gabbing with Chuck, Great location. Will try to get back for sure.

My husband and I stayed for the St.Patrick's weekend from Saturday to Wednesday. The room was beautiful and Chuck was absolutely wonderful. We always try to stay somewhere different every time we go. But from now on we will always stay at the Bon Maison.

We stayed in an inside room, away from the street. Though the hotel is on Bourbon, we found that there was very little noise. The room was small but comfortable, with everything we needed. And since we did not have to pay the expensive tax, it was amazingly reasonable. Have a drink on the balcony and enjoy the night!

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
