Great place to stay! Close to attractions and Cafe Du Monde!
Close to restaurants, shopping, music venues and more!
I guarantee you will have amazon time. Your trip would not be complete without visiting some of the restaurants and sampling their amazing food.
I had several opportunities over the course of four days to walk and explore this property and the following is what I discovered.
Let’s begin this comprehensive review right at the front door. From the street, the front entrance is almost unnoticeable and once inside,...More

a lovely timeshare, close to everything, an easy walk to the French quarter, and close to good restaurants and convenient to transportation routes. well maintained. staff is very friendly and helpful. Coffee lounge and businiss center are a plus
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.

I would try Fat Catz Music Bar and Famous Door. Fat Catz is kind of a hit and miss, depending on the evening and Famous Door has cover bands. Typically you can find out events and bands in these locations and plan an evening. Country is a little harder to come by in NO. Usually if they're going to not play rock, rap, R&B or top 40, then it's going to be New Orleans Jazz. I am not a jazz person, but being in NO it almost feels "right" to sit and listen. They are usually amazing musicians and a treat to watch no matter what they're playing!
