Great place to stay! Close to attractions and Cafe Du Monde! Close to restaurants, shopping, music venues and more! I guarantee you will have amazon time. Your trip would not be complete without visiting some of the restaurants and sampling their amazing food.

I had several opportunities over the course of four days to walk and explore this property and the following is what I discovered. Let’s begin this comprehensive review right at the front door. From the street, the front entrance is almost unnoticeable and once inside,...More

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts

I would try Fat Catz Music Bar and Famous Door. Fat Catz is kind of a hit and miss, depending on the evening and Famous Door has cover bands. Typically you can find out events and bands in these locations and plan an... More
Hello, I am inquiring about safety around the hotel. I know NOLA as a whole may not be safe to walk around at night and a lot of neighborhoods are in a transitional phase but I am completely unfamiliar with NOLA and the surrounding areas. I am coming in August for a bachlorette party and an airbnb has been booked in the Milan neighborhood but I am considering booking this hotel separately because I don't feel comfortable with the location of the airbnb (I also am thinking I need my own space to sleep away from the craziness that goes along with a bachelorette party). So I am wondering if the area is safe enough to walk by myself to catch the street car in the mornings/afternoons to go down to the Milan area to meet up with my girlfriends. At night, I would most likely Uber back by myself. I am hoping that we will spend a lot of time in the French Quarter and this won't really be an issue since the hotel is close to the French Quarter but if not and the girls want to spend a lot of time closer to their airbnb I would like to know.

There is some construction going on around the hotel. It is only a block or two from the French Quarter. I never felt uncomfortable or uneasy about safety while I was there.
