I have (soon, had) a time share with this hotel. Very attractive building. Number one problem was parking. No space. On a weekend it is even worse Because of a couple of new clubs, two buildings down. The loud music practicly makes the building shake....More
My family and I always stay here. Now my oldest some comes once or twice a year with his family and they enjoy it too. Can't give Hotel de la Monnaie enough thumbs up. Just an overall treat and great location, location, location!!!

We have been staying at Hotel de la Monnaie since Katrina, and it has provided lifetime experiences! It is a must stay a week and see the city via streetcar and footpower! Riverwalk, frenchmen's just a ton of places to eat drink and be merry.
Nestled between the French Quarter and the Ninth Ward, the Faubourg Marigny & Bywater environs are largely residential. Of course, folks around here love to go out and have a good time as much as they do anywhere in NOLA. And if out-of-towners want to join in the festivities, well then so much the better! Home to some of the most revered live music venues in New Orleans, an eclectic gaggle of gourmand dining
destinations, and a come-as-you-are vibe that’s as infectious as it is alluring, this is real deal New Orleans oozing with southern hospitality and the promise of a most epic night out. For endless opportunities to boogie, to admire row upon row of lovingly restored homes, and to escape the fray of the more touristic parts of town (but still live it up in grand style) head to Faubourg Marigny & Bywater.
