4 night stay in this very sweet hotel. Helpful staff, right in the middle of the French quarter, 20 yards from Bourbon Street if that's your thing, but easy walks to the riverfront, Canal Street and the French Market. Don't expect a vast lobby or multiple eateries within, but it is everything an unpretentious boutique style hotel should be. Refurbished...

The rooms are nice sizes. Room was very clean. Staff was very helpful. Could walk to French Quarter and Bourbon Street was one block away. Breakfast was very nice and the coffee was great. The only thing that was not working right was the shower there was no pressure.

Rooms not large but well appointed and clean. Location perfect. We had a second floor room over Conti, which was noisy in the afternoon, early evening but they have done a decent job beefing up the doors to quiet down and we had no problem sleeping. Plenty of rooms off the street and those probably best. Nice small quiet bar...

Lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Didn't hear any noise from Bourbon Street. Ideal for couples & singles. The dining/breakfast area isn't set up for families or groups. That said, it's a very nice space and breakfast was well presented and generous!

Perfectly located to enjoy the French Quarter - between the art galleries of Royal Street and the nightlife and music of Bourbon Street. The room was clean, functional, quiet, with a nice little balcony overlooking the courtyard, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The free breakfast selection was fantastic and allowed us to have a big breakfast before leaving to...

Stayed for 4 days in the beginning of January. Weather was good, cool/slightly warm, no rain. Location was perfect, close enough to the action yet far enough from the sound at night. Staff was friendly and helpful. Everyone was great! The complimentary breakfast was really good! Eggs, potatoes, toast, bacon and sausage, cereal, juices and coffee. I had a great...

This was my second stay here in 3 months. I returned because it was so convenient and quiet. I stay on the courtyard side. During Bourbon Street events, there could be excess noise on street side at night. Really do love this small boutique hotel. The courtyard is beautiful.

In New Orleans for a 30th Birthday Bash. This hotel is close to Bourbon and within walking distance to Canal Street and the street cars. It was still quiet though and very clean. Breakfast was better than expected and the staff was friendly and helpful. Pierre was spot on with any recommendations we asked him about. I highly recommend this hotel...

Great stay! Clean room and friendly staff. Free breakfast every morning was huge! Eggs, potatoes, grits, bacon, sausage, all the breads...etc Perfect location off the corner of Bourbon St. Right in the mix without the noise. The hotel bar is pricey. But there is a bar next door with good cheap drinks. If I had one knock on this place...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
