Stayed with a friend in March 2017. We were greeted with a welcome cocktail and friendly staff. Check in was quick and painless and we opted to take addition rewards points over house keeping (only stayed 3 nights). The room was spacious with a great view of the courtyard and pool. Shower was massive and the beds were extremely comfortable....

We stayed at the W French Quarter for two nights prior to a cruise vacation. I was a little bit apprehensive as reviews for this property are extremely varied. Fortunately, I had nothing to be concerned about! We had a great stay! The location of the hotel is perfect. It's right in the French Quarter a short walk to Bourbon...

The great part about NOLA is you can still have fun in the rain. Although our pool, WET, under the sunshine is great! Thank you for sharing your experience and we look forward to seeing you again.

This hotel is funky and friendly! I've stayed here twice and loved it. I'll continue to stay here. Quentin, Joseph, Elijah and others made me feel at home. Also, perfect location. Weird decor, great food, nice bartender. They do a great job at this hotel making one feel at home.

My husband and I recently travelled to New Orleans to celebrate a big anniversary. Our son and his family joined us there and likewise enjoyed their stay. We found the location to be ideal and a comfortable walking distance to most of the places we wanted to go. The accomodations were spotless and the on-site restaurant - SoBou - was...

First time staying at W. second time in NoLa. The place was great. The staff was generally very helpful and nice. On Saturday they hosted an event for fashion week. The place was packed with a bunch of insta-try hards taking selfies and drinking $10 bottles of smart water blocking the elevator. The evening valet helped me keep my cool...

Rooms are nice, location is great, if you want to stay at a place with a great pool, this is not for you. Again, this is all about location, it is centrally located, great spot to walk everywhere and we actually just out of our balcony caught an amazing musician playing sax randomly at midnight, it was eerie and beautiful...

Don't be nervous about staying here, despite some of the sketchy reviews! We had an excellent stay here. The rooms were clean, modern, and beautiful, and the property was quiet at night. Front desk employees were extremely welcoming and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located, within a 5 minute walk of almost everything we wanted to see in the French...

We recently stayed at the W Hotel for our first trip to NOLA and Mardi Gras (four women). This was the perfect hotel as far as vacinity! Lots of restaurants, galleries, boutiques within walking distance. Rooms were quiet as Bourbon Street was close but not too close, so you could get some sleep. Hotel staff were friendly and they have...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
