W New Orleans - French Quarter is a vibrant hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana located adjacent to historic Jackson Square and boutique shops, and a short walk from galleries, the Riverwalk and Harrah's casino.
Overall, this hotel was great. It's trendy and fun, as you'd expect from a W. Very friendly staff. Great location right in the French Quarter. Room was nice.
My only suggestion/complaint is to request NOT to stay in room 227 right by the hotel's fitness...More
We travel to NOLA for business regularly and have had the luxury to stay at many different hotels and this one won our hearts. So much so that we stayed an extra night just to get more time here.

Not impressed one single bit! Disappointed at the front desk workers, not very helpful. Valet was great tho! Nice guy, wish I had remembered his name! Rooms were so out-dated, you could see cracks and scratches all over the furniture. My biggest complaint is NO...More

We just stayed here as part of a wedding we were having at the hotel. It is a smaller property, probably a little larger than a true "boutique" hotel, but it sure had that feeling to me. The hotel was nice, rooms were good sized...More
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the
Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
The balcony rooms at W hotel French Quarter only on the second floor either face Chartres Street or Conti Street. ( some of balcony rooms facing courtyard )There are no rooms with a balcony facing Bourbon street .
