I can not say enough great things about this hotel. The location is perfect on Bourbon St. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The hotel itself is very well maintained and lovely French Quarter style, but their best assets are their employees . From...More
staff was very accomodating.
we were given a room on the top floor but as it had a musty smell they changed immediately and offered free breakfast to make up for it.
the room was charming for a large chain hotel, with a balcony.
We stayed here for 5 days for a New England patriots game and some sight seeing!

A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the
Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.

It was not for our stay so I would say No. However, there are many local restaurants nearby. Our favorite is Pierre Maspero's; only a few blocks away, building has amazing history. If you want to go informal, stop by the Toulouse grocery which is one block behind the hotel and grab some egg sandwiches. Then head to Jax square for some people watching. Have fun!
Not that I can remember. It's a nice hotel and makes walking to most places very easy.
BTW. If you like museums the WWII museum is one of the best in the country. You can walk to it but it is a bit of a hike.
