This hotel has a great location but is in need of a renovation. Upon arrival I requested a quiet room and we were put in a room next to the bell tower of the church next door. We arrived at 10:30am and the room was...More
Stayed only one night in Jan after my originally booked hotel (Sheraton) had problems with burst water pipes and had to move me and a number of colleagues - we were in the city for a company event and subsequent meetings. As far as I...More
We were relocated from the Sheraton to the Renaissance because the Sheraton had no water. I must say the Renaissance- particularly Glenn really turned around a trip that had a rocky start. The hotel is moderate in size and doesn’t have the energy of a...More
Hospitality here was amazing! Everyone was friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice, clean and beds were comfy. I would highly recommend because of the location but most of all....the Oyster bar! It's voted #1 in the city, we scored.
Justin at the front desk gave my friend and I an amazing check-in experience. He was thorough, friendly and incredibly personable. His warm smile, when we initially entered the hotel, disarmed us and put us at ease. His city wide knowledge and ability to communicate...More

TripAdvisor is proud to partner with Marriott, Booking.com, Travelocity, Hotels.com, Expedia, Orbitz, TripOnline SA, Priceline, Cancelon, getaroom.com and HotelQuickly so you can book your Renaissance New Orleans Pere Marquette French Quarter Area Hotel reservations with confidence. We help millions of travellers each month to find the perfect hotel for both holiday and business trips, always with the best discounts and special offers.
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.

The breakfast isn't a part of the hotel; it's a little shop on he lobby. For breakfast we hit so of the local spots: Daisy Dukes, Ruby Slipper, Cafe Beignet, Another Broken Egg Cafe and Willa Jean, these are a few favorites More
