Went there for Christmas with my honey. We had a great time. The location was perfect. Walking distance to EVERYTHING including Bourbon street. The hotel was very roomy and well priced. Staff was very polite.

The service was amazing and beyond what I expected. As our plane had a late departure they held our bags while we explored the area more until we had to leave for the airport and even called the taxi for us! The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was great for the price

Was an average hotel. Was nothing bad about it, except when I was checking out they charged me an amenity fee when I had thought I paid for everything a month in advance. I just felt like this was an underhanded charge and should have been included in the original price.......not when you check out!!!!!

Dear Colby - We apologize for the confusion. The $11.95 amenity fee is disclosed at the time of reservation, but if you booked via an online travel agent and other avenues (versus directly with the hotel) - they may have not included the fee and collected it at time of booking. As such we present the fee in our registration...

Just a 2 minute walk to Bourbon street and a really great place to stay! Tiffany and the rest of her staff were so helpful in planning our trip to New Orleans and made sure we had all the information we needed to enjoy our time. All in all, great trip in a great city with a great hotel.

Great hotel...close enough to the action without being too much in the mess of bourbon. able to walk to the French quarter or catch a streetcar right outside to other areas of the city. Big rooms, comfy beds.

Wow... wish in one hand, and you know what in the other. This place had no working TV and a welcoming staff that was absolutely horrible. Drove all night and was greeted by Gregory who didn't know the first thing about customer service. Went down stairs in the morning talk to the morning staff and they were no less appreciative...

Dear adolton - We really appreciate your business and thank you for taking the time to share feedback so that we can improve. We are very concerned that you had the impression of our night Audit staff as we receive compliments time and time again. I will discuss with the team how we may have better handled your late night...

Rooms are clean but a little tight, but I didn't go to spend all day in the hotel. You can basically walk to most of the attractions from the hotel. Location location location is super. Right on the trolley line. Shopping and casino nearby.

Dear edmindz44 - Thank you for choosing our beautiful boutique hotel. Hope to have you experience our many other room types. We do offer a great value with the entry level Queen interior room but have much larger King, doubles, Suites and rooms with balconies overlooking the famous St. Charles Ave parade route. We hope to see you again soon....

Other than some strange shortcomings with the shower curtains not being long enough allowing water to puddle on the floor and the bathroom vanity light only half working it was clean and adequate. Pillows were small and lumpy making the somewhat uncomfortable.

Thank you henrybT4274JK for taking the time to share your experience. We are in the process of replacing all pillows. It appears your shower curtain rod was installed too high recently. We will resolve that asap along with the vanity light. We apologize that we missed these items on our inspection. Sincerely, Ben B. General Manager

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
