We stayed at Astor for Mardi Gra 2/12/18 - 2/14/18. Check in was quick and the young lady checking us in was pleasant. The room we had was a small room with a view of part of the building (just cement walls), but it was...More

District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.

Hi there. To be honest I don't know as we only went on the Red tram outside the hotel towards Bywater down Rampart St. I'm not sure there is a tram that goes that way. But alternatively it's only a 1/2 hour walk to the centre from the hotel.
Hope this helps & sorry i couldn't be more positive
