We were greeted by Alex at check-in, who took lots of time showing us around and answering all our questions. He also gave us some great restaurant recommendations. Our room was beautiful and spacious- exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was delicious both days, plenty of food, served in a lovely dining room. Location was ideal for exploring a little off the...

Loved the Terrell House - close to St Charles trolley with great access to wonderful Garden District and the uniqueness of Magazine Street. The Terrell House is perfection and our accommodations in the Creole cottage exceeded expectations

Linda, the owner, is so accommodating. The Chef's food is divine. Alex met me at the door and helped me with my things. Breakfast was to die for. i will return as often as possible. It's right in the Garden District. You can walk places and pick up the street car on St. Charles. But she's booked a lot. Make...

Just as we remembered... jumping into the beauty of the garden district, savory breakfasts, easy stroll to Surreys and local shopping. Hospitality was exceptional, a highlight being Shannon Lynch, Terrell House's chef who graciously shared expert advice on what not to miss. We found Muriel's, Rum House, and Grapevine for dinner as well as the best jazz spots that provided...

We will stay here every time we visit New Orleans! I can't believe we just recently discovered this jem. We stayed in the carriage house with our 2 children and it was perfect..plenty of room! We even had our own courtyard seperate from the main house. I would love to keep this a secret but that would not be fair.

We love to hear that we've created a repeat customer! I do believe you were actually in the Creole House - which is actually a mini-apartment. Perfect for families and extended stays! We do hope to host you and your family again in the future.

We had a wonderful experience staying at the inn. The house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The location is quiet but convenient to everything. Staying in Garden District

Neighbourhood Profile
Garden District
Head to the Garden District for the full-on New Orleans experience replete with quaintly clanking streetcars, proudly grandiose antebellum mansions, picture perfect avenues lined with live oaks loaded down with Spanish moss, and a wealth of beautiful churches and many more architectural marvels. Even a brief excursion here makes plain why it’s called the Garden District. So, when you visit be sure to give yourself ample time for admiration at a languidly slow pace befitting such gentile strand of riverside living and to allow you to maximize each opportunity to stop and smell the roses – and whichever other blooms you might come across. While taking it all in, you’d do well to dine at one of the city’s most beloved destinations for regional cuisine. Gourmands from far and wide (and right round the corner) swear the age-old Commander’s Palace is the best restaurant in town – and have been doing so since it opened back in 1880.
