Hyatt provided a good rooms and good customer service. The availability of restaurants, dry cleaning and room service was excellent. I will stay there if I am ever in New Orleans again. Thanks Hyatt Regency

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

This is not your typical hotel. Certain elevators go certain places, certain floors only accessible from certain floors. The elevators don't have buttons inside, but outside. If you're going to be at the hotel for a convention, I recommend arriving the night before and just walking around for an hour to get the lay of the land. The rooms were...

Understand this storm took a huge hit with katrina. Property itself has cleaned up well and staff was nice enough. However, the site is so far removed from the French Quarter and other NOLA experiences with no shuttle service that it is difficult to give more than 3 stars. Also, the room service food, while palitable, was overpriced ($70 for...

We stayed here for the BDR Half-Marathon, and it didn't disappoint. The hotel was very nice, and we felt it certainly was worth the money spent on room rates. Definitely recommend the suites...they have all the amenities you'd expect for a top-line hotel.

Very modern and hotel updated nicely. Starbucks located in the hotel along with various other food/beverage services. I would stay here again.Hotel is near the benz stadium so easily accessible to watch a game. Hotel parking is a little high (roughly 45).

I had a perfectly fine stay at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans, which is a massive hotel in a good, central location. Not too far from Bourbon Street but far enough away that you didn't feel like you were right in the thick of it all the time. If you're looking for a more refined less party type of location,...

I stayed here for a conference. For a conference hotel, it's pretty nice. It looks like it was renovated fairly recently. It is very large, and almost feels like a cruise ship inside. My room was nice and had good views of the Super Dome. As far as location, it was okay. Not my favorite neighborhood, but close enough to...

Stayed here for a conference. Enjoyed the location. Upgraded to a corner room and it was very nice. Looked out over the Super Dome where the Saints play. Easy access to most attractions (short walk), and nice and clean. Food options are very good inside the hotel, but a bit pricey.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
