Traveled for the first time to New Orleans and wanted to live close to Canal Street and French Quarter but not right on top of it and found this gem. Nice, bright and big rooms with a great bed. It's really close to everything in...More

Thank you for the kind words and Holly says that you too. Safe travels until we meet again.
Very contemporary designed room that makes a great impression. Stayed in the Artist Loft which featured the wonderful spoon tub. They need to pay attention to the details and fix what’s visually obvious like the wall where the faucet for the tub is. Water must...More

I agree with most of what previous reviews have said about Loft 523 – great location close to the French Quarter without being in it, cool industrial design, helpful staff. My husband and I were there over Thanksgiving and overall had a pleasant experience, once...More

The Artist's Loft at Loft 523 has a wonderful design edge, with amazingly soft lighting, a comfortable bed, and a deep 'basin' of a tub that is luxurious in its look and feel. Upon first arrival, it appears to be a gem. However, a few...More

We visited New Orleans for a long weekend away and hit the jackpot with this hotel. I found it online and liked the modern vibe of the space and the location (close to the French Quarter but not in it). I read a lot of...More

Thank you for your review. We are so happy that you enjoyed your time with us and look forward to welcoming you back again.
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
