This is one of the few Garden District B&Bs who have a room with two beds and allow children which is greatly appreciated! My 4 and 7 year old kids had a great time in our first floor room which was very spacious and had plenty of room for everyone and everything. Kim went out of her way to buy...

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and it was also where I hosted my wedding! Being from out of town I was unable to actually see the inn in person before arriving and based everything off of online pictures. This could have ended in disaster. When I walked into the inn for the first time all worry...

I spent three nights here with my mother. We both had first floor rooms. Its very quiet, never heard any noise above us. The Innkeeper is very kind and knowledgeable about the area. We liked her a lot! Everything about our stay was lovely. Only two reasons I cannot give 5 stars. The coffee isn't very strong. (I like strong...

This is a restored gem of a bed and breakfast tucked away on a quiet street yet just steps away from one of the main streets in New Orleans where you can catch the trolley to other tourist sites/areas. Each morning we were treated to a hot breakfast along with breads, cereal, yogurt, coffee and assorted juices. The furnishings were...

I cannot get over how charming and lovely the Parisian Courtyard Inn is. It's only a stone's throw away from the French Quarter which is easy to get to via trolley or Uber. The Inn itself was beautiful on the inside, showcasing a very classy and elegant theme. Kim was absolutely amazing and accommodating, and her breakfasts were delicious. The...

We had a wonderful time staying at the Parisian Courtyard Inn on prytania street in New Orleans. Kim, the manager could not have been more accommodating. This B & B is so inviting. Room was spacious and comfortable. This area is great for its quiet neighborhoods. Some much architecture to see. Really enjoyed our stay.

Staying in Garden District

Neighbourhood Profile
Garden District
Head to the Garden District for the full-on New Orleans experience replete with quaintly clanking streetcars, proudly grandiose antebellum mansions, picture perfect avenues lined with live oaks loaded down with Spanish moss, and a wealth of beautiful churches and many more architectural marvels. Even a brief excursion here makes plain why it’s called the Garden District. So, when you visit be sure to give yourself ample time for admiration at a languidly slow pace befitting such gentile strand of riverside living and to allow you to maximize each opportunity to stop and smell the roses – and whichever other blooms you might come across. While taking it all in, you’d do well to dine at one of the city’s most beloved destinations for regional cuisine. Gourmands from far and wide (and right round the corner) swear the age-old Commander’s Palace is the best restaurant in town – and have been doing so since it opened back in 1880.
