The O'Malley house was the perfect choice for us on our first trip to New Orleans. The trolley car is near by to take you to the French Quarter. Delicious breakfast each morning, Larry and Brent offer local information on where to go and eat. We stayed 4 nights in the Consulate's room, very nice and beautifully decorated. Utilize the...

I enjoyed three delightful evenings in the Colonel Parker suite at the 1896 O'Malley House. I was in New Orleans on business and wanted to find a comfortable B&B outside of the French Quarter where I could get a good night's rest, have excellent internet service, trouble-free parking, and a healthy breakfast, yet still have an easy way to get...

Don't be scared off by the fact that this delightful place is outside the French Quarter. It is only a 15 minute streetcar ride into the Quarter (streetcar is $1.25, $.40 for seniors) or a 10 minute taxi ride. Returning to the beauty and quiet is well worth the trip. I have never stayed in such a wonderful B&B. I...

We enjoyed a a five night stay at this wonderful place. We were in the McNeil Suite at the top of the house. The house itself has enough character, with the artwork and restorations, adding two friendly canine hosts was an extra treat. Larry and Brent made us feel at home almost immediately. The breakfast was very healthy and a...

Went there for my fiance's 41st birthday with 2 friends. They stayed at the O' Malley Suite and we stayed at the Colonel Parker Suite. We were greeted by Brent who walked us through the house and the rules as well as all the accommodations we were welcome to enjoy. Also gave us a brief background on the house and...

We loved our stay at O'Malley House. The breakfasts were wonderful. The house is really charming. Brent and Larry were great hosts. Loved having dogs on our vacation. We stayed here for 3 nights. It's close to City Park and some great restaurants. The trolley car stop is just down the street. The only down side is it's a little...

My husband and I, along with another couple, enjoyed a three day stay at 1896 O'Malley House. Larry and Brent made sure our needs were met, giving us good restaurant and sightseeing advice and feeding us delicious breakfasts. Our room and bathroom were large and comfortable and the house and furnishings were charming. And who can resist two beautiful golden...

My husband, daughter and I travel quite a bit and are always looking for new experiences. We'd never been to New Orleans before, and decided we didn't want to stay in the French Quarter where things can get quite noisy. We did our research, and chose the 1896 O'Malley House. It was totally the perfect choice! We took an Uber...

What a pleasant time we had sitting at the breakfast table in this beautiful house, talking with the host and the other guests. The food was good, the dining room lovely, and the comfortable pace, talking about the city and drinking good coffee, was a good start to our day. One day we took the streetcar to visit the sculpture...

My husband surprised me with a trip to New Orleans and a 4 day stay at the lovely O'Malley House. Our room was beautiful and cozy. The host, Larry is full of charm and knows New Orleans extremely well. He was full of ideas for things to do and places to visit that are beyond the scope of the overdone...
