This hotel is right in the French quarter one block from burbon street!!! The hotel has been renevated compared to all the pics online, you walk into a refreshing white lobby with fresh ice cold water and coffee brewed all day and night. The staff Jasmine and Ryan specifically are awesome!!! Sweet, friendly, accomidating, knowledgeable, and attentive. The hot breakfast...

Great Location and helpful staff... Our room was directly off the lobby which is not a great choice if you don't want to hear a great deal of noise. New Orleans is a city based on history so the buildings as well as the hotels are old and have been around a long time.

Great location! It is not within walking distance of the good stuff, it is slap dab in the middle of it! Within stumbling distance of all the best in French Quarter night life. For a ridiculously decent price, we got a great, QUIET, clean, newly renovated, thoroughly NOLA , historical stay. Staff is very nice. They serve a free breakfast...

While in the Quarter for a planned day trip, my wife and I decided to have a few drinks. After a few more on Frenchman's street, we decided we did not need to drive, so I looked online for a nearby place with character. Andy Jackson is newly renovated. Great beds. Very clean. Good price. Cool, classic NOLA courtyard.

The hotel was a great location, and it was so authentic. We were able to walk to everything our entire visit, aquarium, Natchez paddle boat, bourbon street, Jackson square, lots of great restaurants, and outlet mall. I talked to four different people at the front desk over the time we stayed, and they were all wonderful. They always had coffee...

Would stay there again because of the staff. They were so accommodating and went the extra mile to make sure I was having an enjoyable stay. Actually I think I will be going back to New Orleans and will nt consider staying anywhere else

Great location! Be advised you need to climb 21 steps to get to second floor. Breakfast of croissant got you started for the day and included fresh squeezed orange juice. Courtyard great for relaxing after long day.

Let me preface this with saying that I try to keep everything in my life balanced. I'm an optimist and see the bright side of things but with a review, I know you want to know both sides so here is what I can tell you about the Andrew Jackson: Pros: - this is the real deal. An old building...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
