Loved this hotel, so much history attached to it! We were able to walk in without a reservation. Perfect location too!! Close to all the shops and bars yet just far enough away to escape the noise and get some sleep.

My friend and I stayed overnight at the hotel, and enjoyed the vintage decor and learning the history of the building. The two male receptionists working morning and night shift were very welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay.

Excellent location - especially if you book a room with a balcony, because if you don't want to join in the mix you can watch the parade of characters down Royal. Very comfortable bed and large, clean room. The delivered breakfast was the highlight of our day (warm croissant and rich coffee). A special thanks to Brooke, Brenda, Judith an...

Bed had stains and hair. Bathroom was very dirty. We all slept in our clothes because we didn't want to actually touch the sheets. Toilet was very dirty. Orange juice had something floating in it. Won't stay here again

Day three and have yet to have room cleaned. Gone for five hours and no clean towels, no trash collected, air conditioning still on the blink and room hot. Maintenance man finally arrived about 10pm last night sat. to repair a/c and couldn't do a thing until Monday. Deck in bad need of repair with dirty table and chairs. Was...

Absolutely pleased with our NOLA overnight at andrew jackson hotel. Room was small but was enough room for three people. I loved our morning breakfast service of croissants and coffee delivered right to our door. The staff was so professional and kind. The bathroom was small and was a little difficult to get ready but it didn't bother us too...

We were here for 6 days..loved New Orleans ..we booked a room with 2 beds ...was the only one left when we booked. When we arrived only room left had one bed. No porter to assist with luggage up the narrow staircase..though the nice chap at the desk assisted with one bag.. Room was small, dark and grubby..housekeeping lacked. Bathroom...

Right in the heart of French quarters and walkable distance to Jackson square, Bourbon, the Saint Louis cemetery, and even Frenchmen street. The rooms are small but that's expected of boutique hotels. The hotel is also a tourist attraction for haunted tours. Staff was responsive, the rooms were well kept and they do serve English breakfast delivered to your room....

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
