We love it here. We never stay anywhere else when we visit the French quarter. Every room is different and the amenities are great. The staff is very accommodating and helpful. Best of all the hotel is close to the action and all the great restaurants.

I love NOLA, the Quarter House takes it to the moon and back. Old Charm, nice amenities, wonderful and very helpful at front desk. Quaint and lovely courtyard. They have complimentary wine and food socials. Very helpful on resturants and tours.

Conveniently located in the French Quarter and very close to the Jazz Fest pickup point for the bus. This property makes for an ideal location to stay during Jazz week. Once you are inside the complex it is very quiet and very comfortable. Open the front door and you are right in the middle of an amazing city. There are...

We are owners of a timeshare there and like I said this is a great place to stay and it's in the heart of everything in the French Quarter. You can walk to almost anywhere you want to see and I have never had a problem with anyone. We just love this place.

We have stayed at the Quarter House a few times. It is a professionally run operation in a good location just into the French Quarter. As frequent visitors to New Orleans, we did not need to use the many services offered.

We've been staying at the Quarter House annually for more than 20 years. They've done an excellent job maintaining the common areas and making guests feel welcome. We stay a week during Jazz Fest so it's very busy. We love the location and going from the quiet atmosphere of the condo and then stepping out into the active French Quarter....

Just spent a week here in room 305. The one bedroom suite is roomy...but also gloomy. It faces Chartres St. and only the bedroom has windows. The rest of the apartment is dark. Plenty of closets. The bedroom has more than light---it has non-stop music late into the night from Mahogany, a nearby club. I liked the music but not...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
