Where do I begin... arriving at this hotel was a problem from the start, there was no streetside parking in front of the hotel so we had to circle around the block twice before we finally gave up and just parked in the street waiting for the valet since this hotel doesn't have on site parking for its guests. Building...

I went to Nola for the Blues & BBQ Festival for my 40th birthday, while I was pregnant (not the best idea). The hotel was a perfect location for the festival and to visit tourist spots in the French Quarter, but the best part was the customer service. My last day I was sick to my stomach and couldn't be...

We arrived at this hotel to one of the friendliest greetings by Justin who checked us in. We travel extensively and I don't remember loving a hotel as much as I love the St. Christopher. Our family had three rooms in this hotel and each one was absolutely charming. Each room has exposed old brick and mortar along with very...

I stayed here for the Sugar Bowl. At check-in everything was awesome. The staff was extremely nice during our stay. It was bad weather until the last day of our stay and when I opened the blinds my friend and I realized that there was numerous areas of blood smear on the walls. I have been a nurse for 20...

The staff was fantastic, they were very helpful, friendly and informative. The hotel was very clean, and in a great location. The only thing we would have liked to change was the double beds would have been better to be Queen beds.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
