This is the best location, and the staff is a wonderful example of Southern Hospitality. It is close to everything. We went here because we did not want to rent a car. We walked everywhere because all activities are very near. Yet the few blocks of distance from Bourbon Str keep it very quiet. The beds are soft and supportive....

The kind and courteous staff are the best examples of Southern Hospitality imaginable. Dwayne, Heidi by day or Todd by night, were great helpers, with immediate solutions to any question or room problem. It was freezing the night we arrived. Our plane was delayed. When we finally arrived the courtyard fountain had frozen, but our room was heated perfectly! We...

This beautiful hotel is 2 blocks above Bourbon street, far enough to be on a quiet area, but the guests are loud! Thin walls lead to hearing every step people take on the stairs all night. Our room was next to the entrance to the balcony, so each new guest had to walk past our door, note "ooooh, it's a...

Loved our cozy room-Girls Trip! Hidden garden perfect place to toast our trip with the champagne in our room on arrival. Away from noise but close to the action. Easy walk to center of FQ and easy pick up spot for Uber. Can't wait to stay again.

I give the staff at the hotel five stars! Friendly, helpful, clean rooms....all good. But I was so disappointed in our room. The add said: Find historic charm in our traditional Creole cottage once owned in the 1800’s by the famed voodoo priestess, Marie Laveau. From what I've read since booking the room is that this might be the location...

This was a very clean very nice place to stay. The wifi worked great. Steps from Bourbon street. Really enjoyed the stay. No issues what so ever. The room was well kept the temperature was perfect. The bathroom was well stocked and extra towels provided. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well.

The Inn on St Ann. is the perfect distance from the absolute crazyness of Bourbon street. Booze, music, and debauchery is just a few short blocks away but far enough for it to be quiet and secluded for late nights in the shared courtyard adjacent to all the rooms. The set up of the Inn is a bit weird as...

The Inn on St Ann was very nice, clean, cozy, and great location. Our room was in an annex across from the actual inn but it turned out to be perfect because it was off an interior court so very secluded. The location was close enough to Bourbon St and Royal St but far enough away to be quiet for...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
