We stayed here four nights from 14-18 th June. Our room was by the elevators and above the bar area so could be a little noisy at times. Also there was no natural light in the room so it felt a little creepy at first but I thought that feeling would wear off during the stay, though it never did.Looking back I...

Very pleased with our stay. Wonderful staff! Could improve turndown service, we stayed 3 days 2 nights and had to request clean towels and trash pick up. Still, the great staff, beautiful hotel and room, and level of comfort surpassed the small negatives. We will definitely return!

Thank you for sharing the kind words and great photos! I am glad that you had a great time. Also, thank you for letting me know about the hiccup so I can share the feedback with housekeeping. Hopefully when you return to New Orleans we can earn that 5th star!

Stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel has recently been refurbished back to how it was and they have done lovely job. We found all staff very friendly and most helpful. Breakfast offers enough choice to satisfy most people. Our room was spacious, lovely modern bathroom and all kept immaculate by the maids. The hotel is conveniently located to explore...

The hotel staff were extremely accommodating and friendly with our large group of family. The location is just a couple of blocks from the French Quarter and Jackson Square one way. Then go the opposite way and you are only a few blocks from the WW II museum, the casino and many more attractions!!! Highly recommend!!

I hosted the families of my three grown children who were all attending a family wedding. During check in, one family with young children was not assigned to the type of suite that was contracted. Further, a suite was somehow not available for my wife and me, although reservations had had been made and guaranteed six months earlier. At check...

This hotel really has New Orleans's heart in it. The building has a very particular architecture, a mic of old and modern. Rooms are characterized by high ceilings and old style beds and furniture. Service in general could be faster and more professional, and also comfort in the rooms. Prices are a little bit too high in my opinion. 4...

Stayed for four nights and location was great, easy to walk to French quarter. Room itself was not very big but bed was comfortable and room was clean. Breakfast was included but choice very limited. Conscierge on duty were extremely helpful.

Hotel is really nice room was comfortable but it would have been nice to have a window! The location Is right on the money. Didn't try the pool as due to its size it always seemed full. Breakfast was ok on the two days we used it but as its free you really can't complain can you? If I booked...

I am glad to hear you had a good stay with us! We do have a handful of interior rooms that have an atrium window instead of exterior, but most of the hotel does have exterior windows. We can definitely work with you to find a room type that works best for your preferences and hope that on your return...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
