We have made this trip every year for the last 4 years and we always stay here. It truly does feel like a home away from home. The courtyard/pool area is so relaxing and beautiful. The staff is amazing. Ed is an amazing person and...More

We spent 4 nights at the Lions Inn in the Marigny District and found it an excellent place to stay. We walked to the French Quarter and Frenchman St. When we needed to go farther, we walked 4 blocks to the Riverfront Streetcar, which came...More

Visited for Mardi Gras with 3 girlfriends. Owner and staff very friendly and helpful. Booking again for next year with my family. Didn’t want to leave. Truly home from home. Excellent breakfast and comfortable facility. You are made to feel at ease and relaxed

Nestled between the French Quarter and the Ninth Ward, the Faubourg Marigny & Bywater environs are largely residential. Of course, folks around here love to go out and have a good time as much as they do anywhere in NOLA. And if out-of-towners want to join in the festivities, well then so much the better! Home to some of the most revered live music venues in New Orleans, an eclectic gaggle of gourmand dining
destinations, and a come-as-you-are vibe that’s as infectious as it is alluring, this is real deal New Orleans oozing with southern hospitality and the promise of a most epic night out. For endless opportunities to boogie, to admire row upon row of lovingly restored homes, and to escape the fray of the more touristic parts of town (but still live it up in grand style) head to Faubourg Marigny & Bywater.

We shared a bathroom while there. Not a problem at all - there was a gentleman in another room that shared but was only there one day and we never crossed paths. Actually, a couple of rooms with private bathrooms had the bathroom outside their room anyway. I would use shared on next visit again. Loved it there
