What a find & bargain!!! In the heart of the French quarter, walk to everything but with privacy &a court yard. Staff was friendly, informed & helpful. Thank you Gentry House & staff for making our NOLA trip so memorable.👍🏼❤️
We stayed here a couple of years ago, and it was quite a find. It is inexpensive and the location is really good (away from the noise but close walking to everything). We did arrive 50 minutes early, so I was expecting we could park...More
Well we came back and had another great stay - no kids this time - the room was clean - I remember other amenities in the fridge last time - did not see Brian but the two young men who checked us in and gave...More

Right beside Louis Armstrong park this lovely old cottage has 2 bedrooms, one with double bed and the other 3 singles, a living room with sofa bed, and full kitchen. Safely behind a locked gate it was perfect for us. Walking distance from everything but...More
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the
Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.

We get them from Croissant d'Or, 617 Ursulines St. in the French Quarter. You can check out the offerings online ... but it doesn't give you the taste of the originals.
