We came to meat someone. The room, parking, and the room was great, a bit small, but we didn't mind that. It was clean and the continental breakfast was not bad. The neighborhood is dark at night, and that could make one uncomfortable walking.More

Dear Readers, I appreciate and welcome all guests reviews, but feel its necessary to correct a point where needed. The neighborhood is mixed residential to commercial. Mostly residential, so therefore, street lighting is appropriate to the neighborhood. The massive Live Oak trees that our wonderful...More
Garden district is a paradise. Hotel front desk is so dedicated to your service. Our room was just fabulous, at a very affordable price. But: 1-Breakfast should be slightly improved. 2-Our room was not very clean when we arrived. We did not leave a tip...More

Thank you for taking time to write the review. I appreciate the overall comments, however, your claims upset me as this is not acceptable for my hotel.. I am hoping to hear back from you via the email I just sent you. I...More
We stayed at the Prytania Oaks a few weekends ago and had a great experience. The room was perfect, if a little bit small, and the bed was really comfortable. Housekeeping did a phenomenal job while we were there, and the staff was very friendly....More
Just came back from a weekend visit to NOLA. For starters, I loved the location of this hotel. Not to far away from the French Quarter but far enough to give one a good nights sleep. The property is the newest in the chain of...More

Dear Guest, I am sorry that you were not completely happy with us. The issue with the "light attracting bugs" is not the cleanliness of the hotel but from the issue that New Orleans has this time of year. They are native to New Orleans...More

Head to the Garden District for the full-on New Orleans experience replete with quaintly clanking streetcars, proudly grandiose antebellum mansions, picture perfect avenues lined with live oaks loaded down with Spanish moss, and a wealth of beautiful churches and many more architectural marvels. Even a brief excursion here makes plain why it’s called the Garden District. So, when you visit be sure to give
yourself ample time for admiration at a languidly slow pace befitting such gentile strand of riverside living and to allow you to maximize each opportunity to stop and smell the roses – and whichever other blooms you might come across. While taking it all in, you’d do well to dine at one of the city’s most beloved destinations for regional cuisine. Gourmands from far and wide (and right round the corner) swear the age-old Commander’s Palace is the best restaurant in town – and have been doing so since it opened back in 1880.
The Prytania Oaks does share a very small parking lot with the adjacent business, however, the main parking lot is 1/2 block away located at The Prytania Park. Which by the way, is where you check in and register.
