Everything about this place is pure class and quality, from the spacious, luxurious and comfortable guest rooms and common areas to the genuine charm of the innkeepers, Tom and Patricia, who are very knowlegable about activities and restaurants in the area and full of great advice for the curious traveler. Featuring delicious breakfast and even a wine and cheese hour...

We spent several nights at Maison Perrier and had an outstanding experience. Great breakfast and friendly people. Location is on a quiet street with great access to the St Charles streetcar and several nice restaurants drinking establishments within walking distance. We were visiting a close friend and now this is his "go to" recommendation for other friends visiting New Orleans.

The Home is pleasing, the owners are gems, both knowledgeable and accessible, the breakfast compares to any 5 star hotel, the location is convenient to anywhere one wishes to go in New Orleans, My only recommendation is to consider the attributes of each of the rooms while booking so as to best suit your personal needs .

If you're reading this then you're probably like we were and are looking for something a little "different". Just guessing that you are planning a trip to New Orleans and are wanting to avoid the "chains" ! Well look no farther... I'll write this review "bullet" style cause' it's easier 1) Tom and Patricia have really worked to make this...

My (now) wife and I stayed here in May 2016 for our wedding in NOLA and were very pleased with the level of service of the owner and staff and with the beautiful facilities. Because we were staying there for our wedding, they were very accommodating to photographers, hairdressers, and our guests coming and going during the time we were...

Everything about Maison Perrier was great. Upon greeting us, Tom spent a great deal of time explaining the functions of the Bed & Breakfast as well as making us feel at home in New Orleans. He talked about various things to do and see. He made himself available when we had questions. The breakfasts which were provided for his gracious...

Stayed here on Halloween weekend with my wife and had an enjoyable time. The staff are very polite, helpful with any recommendations you need, but are not intrusive at all. The room we had was nice and well taken care of. This place is also in a great neighborhood to go walking and see some fantastic old homes. A morning...

Everything about our stay was a "10" - from being greeted by Tom at arrival with loads of information, to fresh breakfast every morning cooked by Patricia, we could not have been more pleased. They have thoughtful touches throughout including an honor bar for refreshment and fresh baked goods when you come home after a busy day of sightseeing. The...

I am sorry it has taken so long to do this review. We were here March 22, 2014. I have to say that when we come back to Louisiana this will be our place. It's wonderful and the owners were amazing. Rooms, staff, food, all great. I will come back here again soon, Maison Perrier has my absolute thumbs up...

We had a family reunion of 12 people this August and everyone stayed at Maison Perrier. It is a charming B & B and the hosts are charming also. This was our second stay and we hope to be able to return.

Staying in Garden District

Neighbourhood Profile
Garden District
Head to the Garden District for the full-on New Orleans experience replete with quaintly clanking streetcars, proudly grandiose antebellum mansions, picture perfect avenues lined with live oaks loaded down with Spanish moss, and a wealth of beautiful churches and many more architectural marvels. Even a brief excursion here makes plain why it’s called the Garden District. So, when you visit be sure to give yourself ample time for admiration at a languidly slow pace befitting such gentile strand of riverside living and to allow you to maximize each opportunity to stop and smell the roses – and whichever other blooms you might come across. While taking it all in, you’d do well to dine at one of the city’s most beloved destinations for regional cuisine. Gourmands from far and wide (and right round the corner) swear the age-old Commander’s Palace is the best restaurant in town – and have been doing so since it opened back in 1880.
