Very enjoyable stay. Nice rooms, very friendly and helpful staff. Two pools and courtyards for relaxing. Good location and possible to walk to many things. Parking not most desirable, but staff always glad to help.

An ideal location for the French Quarter. Two blocks off Bourbon Street but away from the noise if you would like to sleep. Staff was helpful. Parking is $39 a night which is high but convenient. The funkiness of the rooms because of the age of the structure may be a turn off to some but the location more than...

Enjoyed my stay very much. Buildings have so much character. Staff was friendly and made me feel at home. I appreciated the small frig in my room and the little grocery store across the street is so convenient. I will stay again in the future at the St Pierre.

Just 2 short blocks north of Bourbon Street and you are in a quiet residential district. The hotel is very well situated for walking the French Quarter. Our room overlooked the street but no noise...the balcony was narrow, needs a prop up but still fine. The whole hotel needs a spruce up which the management says is coming. The breakfast...

This is an amazing hotel. They have really nice cozy rooms. This hotel was a museum and they have a theme. The theme is that they have named each room after jazz musicians. We stayed in Fat Dominos room. Super friendly staff. They helped us a lot to get around the place and find good restaurants to eat. This hotel...

The campus for the St. Pierre is great. Several pools and public areas are great for getting in the Nawlins mood. The rooms are old and small, but when the place was built people were smaller. The Fantastic (not a word I throw around lightly) staff all need to be commended, if not given raises. Thank you Kenneth, Ryan, Vickie...

We had a great time at Hotel St. Pierre. The property is quaint and quiet. The staff are friendly and helpful. They offer a decent breakfast and milk and cookies in the afternoon. The rooms are comfortable and you can control the temperature yourself!

I am really lukewarm on this I could have marked it two but marked it 3 instead - gesture of goodwill. Good points: Location - the location is perfect (5 mins from Bourbon Street, 6 mins from Jackson Square). Its also a very quiet location Breakfast - I liked it - starts from 7am to 10am - you have a...

Most accommodating, friendly people I have ever encountered in my travels. I had to travel to New Orleans for a shoulder surgery, and was traveling by myself. Not only did the staff place me in a room location convenient to my needs (like near an ice machine to ice down bandaged area), but near the front desk where there were...

My boyfriend and I spontaneously took a week off work to mentally reboot before he started a new job the following Monday. We stayed at Hotel St. Pierre from Tuesday - Saturday and I wouldn't stay anywhere else when we go back, because we definitely will be back. We booked the hotel just 3 days before we flew out because...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.

On the National Register of Historic Places, the Hotel St. Pierre, with its authentic French Colonial cottages dating back to the 1700's, embodies the architecture, romance, and ambiance of a bygone era. Contributing greatly to the hotel's charm is the relaxed atmosphere of this quiet residential section of the French Quarter. One would never guess its proximity to world class dining, culture, and the lively nightlife of Bourbon Street. Secluded lush tropical courtyards, balconies, pools, and fountains help make this the perfect spot for a family vacation, romantic escape, or storybook wedding, as well as for incentive trips, reunions, and family vacations.
