Love this hotel but batteries on door and safe died at inconvenient times, elevator stuck, fire alarm alarming without cause, front desk doesn't answer phone in daytime, manager unresponsive, problems with reservation through iPrefer.

Great hotel, staff and location. No need for a car but bring your walking shoes. A great place to stay with friendly, well trained staff made our trip memorable. Especially enjoyed Latitude 29 restaurant and bar on site.

We stayed for three nights. It is located in close proximity to everything. The staff was very friendly. They serve a cold breakfast but the croissants and breads were fresh. If you plan on partying all night and sleeping during the day be sure to request a room without windows. You will sleep and not have any idea that it...

This historic hotel was located in the French quarter and near everything so it was easy to walk around and see the sites. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. My room was big and spacious. They have a great saltwater pool in a quaint courtyard. They are getting ready to start remodeling so it can only get better.

Nice large room, but watch out ! You could get one without windows. Bienville is remodeling soon. Clean except for old carpets and upholstered chairs. Rooms are well worn despite a past with luxury drapes, carpets, etc. Somewhat iffy location. Reservation desk and breakfast staff are welcoming, responsive and a delight!

Stayed here on our last trip this past Sunday to Wednesday. The hotel is the sister hotel to the Monteleone and is a good hotel. It will be having some repairs soon and are in need of them as well, but still a good place to stay.

Lovely staff at registration. William!! Beautiful room, swimming pool and we loved the bar's special drinks and tenders. Great food in the bar. We will be back. St Patrick's Day is full of fun and costumes. The community takes celebration seriously. Watch out for pick pockets. Police aware but can not Persue the culprits. I was here for 7 days...

Our room was nice, large and clean. Beds were comfortable. Balcony overlooking the street was wonderful for sitting and watching parades. But the negatives were: Parking was a nightmare; it took almost two hours to get our car on the first morning. Drinks on the first floor were not available after about 2:00pm and extra small water bottles in the...

We had girls trip to NOLA. We got a great rate on a boutique hotel. We were moved to a new room after experiencing an a/c issue. Easy and very considerate on addressing the problem. Cynthia at the front desk was excellent, she had all our needs met before we knew we needed anything. Thomas, our bellman, was most helpful....

Probably the worst hotel experience I have had anywhere in the world. Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
