Rooms were nice and clean, but as with most old hotels there was a musty smell. It takes a really long time to get your car from the valet. They told us it would be 20 min. It was 45. The door greeters were super nice. House keeping and bar staff were super nice, but the concierge knew I was...

Stayed here for a few days after a cruise to enjoy the City. Location is right in middle of French quarter on bourbon street so the proximity to everything we wanted to visit was great. Staff and overall feel of everything was excellent.

Right in the heart of the French Quarter lies a quiet jewel. The Bourbon Orleans Hotel is an upscale hotel on a quiet street right off Bourbon Street. Just a stones throw from the action. Clean with great staff. I highly recommend it!

The service I experienced at check in was welcoming. The service from in-room dining was very friendly, quick delivery, and items arrived hot. Thoughts about room: I had a the Orleans Balcony Loft Suite that offer a view of Orleans Street and the St. Louis Cathedral. Room 311. Very nice, roomy, and bed was comfortable., 2 refrigerators one on each...

Very nice hotel in a great French Quarter location. However, front desk staff need training on customer service, and need more staff during BIG travel times. For example, front desk does not answer phone or return calls to room. Bell hops and valet parking were terrific.

Very friendly, great location, clean and nice. The lounge has great bands and is open air to the street so you can enjoy the band and watch the craziness. We will definitely book here again for our next trip and there will be a next trip.

I loved this hotel. It was close to everything I wanted to see and do. I used Saint Louis Cathedral as a landmark for finding my way back to the hotel. The room was the cleanest I have stayed in for a long while. The concierge was helpful. Although I didn't ask him to book anything for me, he was...

Stay was good as always. great location. Front desk staff is the best, housekeeping needs more time to clean room so they can do a better job. Food is good. Security could improve, they put a sign at night to show your key but there is no one at the door checking.

The staff was wonderful throughout our trip. I had asked for a quiet room and the request was fulfilled. We had a very comfortable king room overlooking the pool. Other guests in our group had a room with balcony which was a nice addition. (Although, you are more likely to hear street noise.) The hotel is within walking distance of...

we could not have picked a better location. !! This is our second time here, and this time we brought some of our children. We had a balcony room, so we could gaze up and down Orleans, to Bourbon, or Royal. The bar is excellent, and I certainly can't forget the Fabulous breakfast buffet. The rooms are really very nice...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
