We stayed a couple nights in December. When we checked out we were told our parking was free because of a promotional that we had. We were given a bill for the room which stated paid in full. Now weeks later, our credit card is...More

Maury, thank you for the five-star review of Le Pavillon. I am delighted to hear that you enjoyed our convenient location complete with our attentive associates' service. We hope to welcome you back again the next time your find yourself in New Orleans.
We enjoyed Le Pavillon during our weekend getaway to New Orleans, and found it to be a great value with a perfect location for us. After the first night, I asked to change rooms because of some maintenance issues with my room, which had recently...More
This French themed hotel provided us with a pleasant stay. The rooms were nice...the only minus was the very small bathroom. The rooms had a refrigerator, safe, microwave oven, a Keurig coffeemaker, along with the flat screen TV. In the morning, fresh complimentary coffee is...More

Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.

I don't pay much mind to stories of hauntings and spirits. I think if you want a ghostly encounter, you can find one anywhere...especially in areas with so many stories to tell. But I personally think you find as much as you're looking for. There was nothing out of the ordinary in my experience. The hotel was stunning and my stay was wonderful!
