We loved our stay! They are located just 2 blocks from bourbon street. Everything in the quarter was in walking distance and we felt safe the entire time. The rooms are smaller than modern hotels, but that's only to be expected in a 200+ year old building. Everything was clean and the furniture was modern. Their pillows were not so...

The room was adequate. We did not know about the additional cost to park the car away from the hotel as there is no parking nearby. The hotel is within walking distance of everything in the French Quarter.

The Inn on St Peter is a wonderful place to stay. It was beautiful and quiet even through Mardi Gras! The staff including the front desk folks were wonderful, kind and very helpful at all times. We would recommend The Inn on St Peter to couples and family alike. Thank you for a great experience through our first Mardi Gras!

upon arrival to my room I tried to call the front desk to ask how to connect with wifi and found my phone wasn't working. I walked to the front desk to tell them that and they said they'd send someone the next morning. When i returned later the next evening, it wasn't fixed. Then my cellphone was stolen (not...

Wonderful stay! Perfect location in the French Quarter. Far enough away from the crazy Bourbon St. but close enough to walk and see everything. Stayed on the second floor with balcony access. Very nice but tended to be a little loud at night due to the street noise. Then spent two nights on the first floor in an interior room....

Staff is always friendly and respectful of my privacy.I stay here often and have stayed here for many years so certain staff members are on a first name basis with me and are certain to greet me if they know I am there.

Wonderful historic inn on the perifery of the French quarter. Room was clean and spacious. Housekeeping did an excellent job. Would definitely go back. Leaving our bags at the front desk when we arrived before checking so we could explore the city was so very helpful.

We had such a nice experience at the Inn. Perfect location for a few days in the French quarter. The shared balcony was great. Our room (3) was a little small but who stays in the room too long on vacation anyway? Thank you to the Inn for making our trip very pleasant!

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
