Have stayed here on both of our trips to New Orleans, and have never been disappointed. Hotel is in a central location and we have always felt safe traveling to and from this hotel. An added bonus is Majoria's Commerce Restaurant directly across the street. Great place for breakfast or lunch.

Super disappointing for an Omni. My room was small with an FULL size bed with a stained and cigarette burned blanket. Go to one of the two other Omni Hotels in Nola. They look much better. On the bright side the room was very quiet and if you drink enough you won't notice the uncleanliness.

This hotel was excellent from the courteous employees to the charming guest rooms. It was within walking distance to the French Quarter and downtown with plenty of restaurants nearby. Would recommend to friends and stay here again.

We stayed here two years ago and had a fine visit, but this place is so much worse now. The room we got was pretty awful. The door to the room itself did did not sit flush in the door frame, which made it impossible to deadbolt the door. There is also no way of indicating to cleaning staff when...

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was exceptional and accommodating for the 2 days we were there. The noise near our room from foot traffic and other guest was a little disruptive on several occasions, but otherwise we had a good experience.

We spend very little time in hotels while in New Orleans: most of our time is spent exploring, eating, drinking and having fun! - quiet location - 2 blocks from Canal / French Quarter - nice room, but bathroom was tiny (every room is different layout, do this is hit or miss...) - helpful staff

Thank you for your review. We are happy that our location was convenient to everything you were looking for in New Orleans. We apologize that the bathroom was a little cozy. The building is historic and that means that some of our rooms have a quirky layout. We also appreciate your kind words about our staff. We hope that we...

$36.00 for overnight valet parking is absurd, there were no other parking options. Ghetto area, crappy hotel, nothing to write home about. I would not recommend this hotel. I would suggest the French Quarter, if you did not drive, or a hotel that has parking if you have a vehicle.

Thank you for providing your feedback. Due to the development limitations that are placed on the CBD, Warehouse Districts and French Quarter, parking is scarce in the downtown. Despite that, we have the lowest parking rate of all four diamond properties in the city and work to keep our rate the most competitive. I am interested in learning more about...

Beautiful room, aside from some dodgy plumbing issues. Friendly staff. Great location if you want to get into the heart of the FQ (but a good two blocks away from the late night noise). We booked because of the rooftop hot tub: perfect for a winter dip. Would come again - thanks guys.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
