My husband and I were looking for a place to stay that was close enough to walk to the Mardi Gras action but far enough away to be able to sleep. The Windsor Court Hotel was perfect for this. It's just on the edge of the French Quarter and the staff were wonderful. Always friendly and helpful and gladly answered...

Beautiful and luxurious each and every time. Superb service in a beautiful setting. My favorite hotel in the city. The suites are wonderful, great views, and quiet. Always greeted by huge arrangement of fresh roses in lobby. Try Tea on thursdays. Lovely

The service experienced - their service is always at the highest caliber. We have stayed at the Windsor Court several times and they never fail to amaze us. The hotel is stunning and the service is impeccable. It is right outside the French Quarter so you are able to escape the craziness after a long day! I have attached a couple views from the room on the 19th floor.

Always a great stay at The Windsor Court. I was visiting my daughter for 6 nights and they upgraded me to a suite without even asking. Service was excellent. Food delicious. I have been to NO since 1984 , have stayed in many hotels , Windsor Court stands out as the best ( Ritz Carlton second ) in my book . Located centrally and near the convention centre. Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
