This beautiful hotel was in the heart of the quarter and staff was amazing. The courtyard was so beautiful and the breakfast was really great! I've never seen a hotel spread like this, not the usual free breakfast. There was anything you could want and the food was delicious! The rooms were clean and spacious. I would highly recommend this...

The hotel was in good condition. My room was very nice. The breakfast was well above average. I consider my stay a good value. The location was adjacent to the French Quarter. The only complaint was my room was on the third floor without elevator service.

The room was attractive but there was no comfortable place to sit except on the bed. Also, the bath has double pedestal sinks but no room for toiletries. The staff is friendly and helpful and the location couldn't have been better. A buffet breakfast is included in your stay

This is a great place to stay in the Quarter. We stayed in a room off the smaller courtyard and had no issues with noise. We slept great every night, very comfortable bed. Small room with only a stall shower--but lovely a lovely marble stall shower. Could have used some more bathroom counter space, but no serious room complaints. Breakfast...

The hotel has a great location, but during holidays and spring break the streets are extremely noisy ALL night. Room was great, large enough and with a comfortable bed. Breakfast is very very basic. Service is bad. Simply bad. Room was not serviced until we went to reception and complained etc.

Great service from Soloman! Great location and beautiful garden area. Staff shouldn't tell people booking a reservation there is a view if there isn't one. For the price I would check out other hotels next time.

Location is great right off burbon street. While some noise from the street it was still easy to sleep. Buffet was good in the morning and staff was friendly. Would definitely stay at the hotel again.

Overall a nice place to stay. They upgraded us to the courtyard view, which is recommended if you don't like the street activity. Location was great, people were very friendly, except Bar Vin. Maybe they don't like hotel guests who have free drink vouchers.

This is a wonderful boutique hotel right in the heart of the French quarter but on a quiet street (mostly.) lovely breakfast and great service in general. Beautiful courtyard that is covered when necessary but no pool. Ask for a room that opens up to a second floor courtyard-the main courtyard can be noisy. Beware of room 229 called "partial...

We spent Mardi Gras weekend at this hotel and would definitely return. It is centrally located within walking distance of almost everything. Even thought it was only a block from Bourbon Street, we were not bothered by noise. Breakfast each morning was al fresco in the nice courtyard and accompanied by a cheery morning welcome by Miss Chantelle Williams (thank...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
