Had a nice time. Food at the conference was ok (provided by the hotel). Definitely worth looking into eating off site. Revolution is a bit pricey. Hotel bar was ok as well. PJs coffee is always a crowd pleasure, PLUS they serve bloody marys and mimosas. . . . .

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. Loved having the PJs coffee in the lobby! The meeting rooms, meals, and snacks were well organized. I would recommend this hotel to anyone holding a conference or in town for fun. It is located on Bourbon Street which makes going out very convenient. Since I was part of...

I was at the Royal Sonesta for a conference last week. The service was nice at the hotel. My phone had a hard time staying connected to the WiFi and the food served as ok at the conference. Love that the PJs in the hotel serves mimosas and bloody marys.

I've stayed at this hotel on many occasions, it's one of my personal favorites in New Orleans! Always a great experience, a bit loud on the street side during any festival but always a really great time! I highly recommend it to all of my friends.

I held a sales meeting for 87 people at the Royal Sonesta. On the highlights side the rooms were great and well set up. We couldn't hear other meetings going on which can be a problem with multiple rooms. The staff were very professional and helpful from the doormen to AV to catering. This is a very solid choice for...

Our first trip into the Big Easy! Got a great rate at this hotel through Hotwire and enjoyed three nights this month (Jan 2015). We were given a choice of courtyard or Bourbon street rooms...we choose Bourbon Street...we were there for he experience! Hotel was very nice, service from all staff was excellent. Location was great! The service in the restaurant was a bit slow, but that may just be the southern way. They definitely didn't rush you. Good things first! Great location and we got the quieter side away from Bourbon St I asked for on the club level. The room (balcony king) was dated and small. Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
