We loved this hotel in the middle of the New Orleans French Quarter; we arrived late due to Amtrak delays, and the staff was very warm and welcoming even when I mispronounced the name (it is Prince Conti-long "i"). Our room was clean, attractive and comfortable. This was our first trip to New Orleans and we fell in love with...

very affordable and, although in the midst of the french quarter, very quiet at night. windows don't open, though (a minus for me, esp at night) and the air conditioning a bit noisy. great restaurant on site and very helpful staff. also room very clean and relatively spacious.

Very friendly & clean hotel ideally located half block off Bourbon Street in the French Quarter. Don't worry it is VERY quiet at night, don't know how they do it, but believe me you'll sleep well. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant is very good value indeed. The hotel staff are all very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean...

No courtyard, no pool, no free breakfast, location is good for bourbon and royal streets, parking is $28 per night, walls are very thin and subject to noise, we like St Marie better which is owned by same group which has courtyard, pool, and free breakfast for low price

We booked using Hotels.com. When we checked in we were given room 105 which is a handicapped room. No window, noisy because it is next to the kitchen, rock hard mattresses, and the hotel wouldnt change the room because it was Jazz Fest weekend and they were full. They moved us on Sunday to a better room, but the shower...

This is an old building, but was renovated in 2006. Very clean, no odd odors, no signs of wear and tear. Housekeeping did a good job. Centrally located in the French Quarter. But, basic. My list of minor complaints: tube TV instead of flat screen, no directory of hotel services in the room, no outlets available on/near the desk for...

Stayed at Prince Conti for a couple of nights. Staff is absolutely lovely! Very helpful and friendly. Rooms have old charm and are clean. All public areas are neat also and continuously cleaned. Only steps from Bourbon St. but no street noise what so ever! Great locations in French Quarter if you also value your sleep!

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
