Room and property were both awesome. We were especially happy with the staff at the front desk and in the hospitality room for breakfast (Duane, Greta, and Yolanda). Duane in particular had an amazing attitude and upbeat personality, and contagious smile.

We just stayed here for graduation, very disappointed. The two bedroom suite was nice space but it was sorely in need of updating. The kitchen supplies were sparse and there were ants present there and in the bathroom. Broken elevator one day and the room had a leak in the ceiling (we were told it was recently fixed at check...

The staff were exceptional(Mallory, Duane and Sharon) made our stay more than a pleasure. They provided assistance in every way with courtesy and professionalism. With children, the amenities were the best. We especially enjoyed the fantastic breakfast buffet and the evening happy hour. You made a visit an exceptional experience. Thank you all. Lynda

We stayed here for a family vacation to visit my niece who lives in New Orleans. This hotel is centrally located, it is in the warehouse district. We were able to walk to the French Quarter, the Aquarium , River Walk and the Insectarium. All were less than a mile from the hotel. To get to the Garden District or...

We have all great things to say about our stay at this hotel! This is our first time traveling with our 10 month old and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Duane, Sarah and Czreta in the kitchen are so hospitable! They were so sweet to our daughter, bringing her special treats and conversing with her each morning. They are...

Not a very good experience. Shocked given the brand. Checked in on Monday to a 2 bed 2 bath suite. The tub lever in one bath was rusted and unusable. The light/fan system didn't work properly. The window is cracked and even has a hole that is a few inches big. At check in, front desk almost double charged us,...

Sharon and the girls at the front desk were very pleasant and helpful. The rooms were nice but more attention needed on stains on carpets, sofa and towels. Elevator in the Atrium was useless. If you stay on that side, recognize steps is the only way to go. The courtyard is very nice, however, appears to be no staff giving...

An older Residence Inn that is really in need of re-modeling. It is basically clean enough, but it has that musty smell that accompanies older hotels. There are basic amenities. Unfortunately, it is not really close to many areas of interest, though my wife & I did walk the mile or so to the French Quarter many times.

Visiting New Orleans on vacation, this Residence Inn added to the fun of our trip. Perfect location, pool for the kids, friendly helpful staff, Duane in the hospitality and breakfast room was heroic at keeping everything in order and everyone happy, the maintenance staff also wonderful. Thank you and hope to be back one day.

Staying in Arts District / Warehouse District

Neighbourhood Profile
Arts District / Warehouse District
Once a thriving industrial zone, today this district is home to a buzzing arts scene with an amazing assortment of galleries, boutiques, and studios having moved in and set up shop throughout the disused warehouses for which the area is so well known. Much of the art you'll come across here is local in scope, ownership and inspiration. However, among the many old brick warehouses are modern structures of steel and glass housing large-scale cultural institutions of national prominence such as the National World War II Museum, the Contemporary Arts Center, and the Ogden Museum of Southern Art. Just as eye catching as what’s on view inside the galleries and museums is the chance to see your ship come in at the Julia Street Cruise Terminal, which serves as a wistful reminder of the city’s historic maritime prominence.
