I am a Lifetime Marriott Platinum and the service here is absolutely top drawer. Everyone here speaks to you. The location is really very quiet, and the rooms are nice. I stayed here from 5/24-5/27 and would most definitely return. The price was more than reasonable.

We really love the hotel location, it is very quiet and clean. There's ample of restaurants to chose within walking distance and we also walked to the French Quarter a few times. It takes about 20-30 minutes to the French quarter. It is doable because there's Tims to see. It is near the Mall by the water. The Staff are...

This was our first time staying at the Courtyard Marriott Downtown/Convention Center. We drove in to the parking area and were greeted by the valet staff and pleased to find that parking was on site. Check-in was quick and efficient and the staff member checking us in was friendly. The room was nice and it appeared had been recently updated....

I keep giving this location my business but may not be anymore due to their inability to administer simple promotions or provide decent service due to what appears to be understaffing. First day we sat at bar in Bistro over 10 minutes before having to go back and bang on kitchen window to get their attention. Answer was.....we are cleaning...

A beautiful hotel "!! The staff was very professional and very helpful. The hotel is a short walking distance to the French quaters and the rooms are so modern and contemporary . My family and I said we weren't going to leave . They will definitely be our first choice on our next visit which will probably be in June...

This is a super cool Courtyard. It is a converted warehouse with lots of exposed timbers, original brick, etc. in rooms and elsewhere. Our rate for the week of 4/2 was $90/night, which was amazingly low given it was in the arts/warehouse district and a 20 minute/walk or $6-7 Uber ride to the French quarter. This rate is probably a...

I recently stayed at the Courtyard Marriott Downtown NOLA - Convention Center and had a very enjoyable stay. Our check-in experience was very smooth and the front desk staff extremely helpful throughout our stay. They made good recommendations on places to eat and gave excellent directions for finding our way around. I noticed the General Manager of the property several...

The staff were great, the rooms were clean and it was convenient to the convention centre and ten minutes walk to the french quarter - many restaurants around the hotel - the only comment was the room was a good 5 minute walk from the elevator - the pool looked refreshing but did not get a chance to use it

Had such a wonderful girl's night at our stay for our best friends dental convention at convention center. Staff was so friendly and our favorite was Lisa McNeal. She made us feel at home and had a shining personality. We loved the avocado toast!

I travel frequently to New Orleans, and normally stay on Canal street. I happened to stay at the Courtyard my last trip, and it was amazing. It is only a block from Mulate's, 2 blocks from the River Walk, and a very short walk to the Casino and Canal street. The price was considerably cheaper than the hotels on Canal....

Staying in Arts District / Warehouse District

Neighbourhood Profile
Arts District / Warehouse District
Once a thriving industrial zone, today this district is home to a buzzing arts scene with an amazing assortment of galleries, boutiques, and studios having moved in and set up shop throughout the disused warehouses for which the area is so well known. Much of the art you'll come across here is local in scope, ownership and inspiration. However, among the many old brick warehouses are modern structures of steel and glass housing large-scale cultural institutions of national prominence such as the National World War II Museum, the Contemporary Arts Center, and the Ogden Museum of Southern Art. Just as eye catching as what’s on view inside the galleries and museums is the chance to see your ship come in at the Julia Street Cruise Terminal, which serves as a wistful reminder of the city’s historic maritime prominence.
