Every year about 13 vietnam era veterans get together in a different city for a reunion. This year we chose New Orleans. We have never been treated better than this time at this hotel. We were there for six days and the friendliness and service never wavered. Especially from Joshua who greeted me when I arrived and always seemed to...

My husband and I checked in 3/19 and left 3/22. The staff was very courteous, helpful and pleasant, especially Joshua and Tanay. After a long drive they really helped take the edge off and settle in. The hotel is very clean and nicely decorated. The location is great. You are within walking distance to the French Quarter but far enough...

This hotel is new inside..the original building was supposed to have been a warehouse. Tastefully decorated rooms and other areas for larger gatherings. The rooms are not large but not too small for comfort either. Microwave, coffee makers, fridge and safe included in the room. The beds are new and comfortable and the coverings are neat and clean and do...

My family and I visited N.O on 3/17 to 3/20 for St.Patrick's Day weekend and had an awesome time. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the rooms and lobby were very well kept. I felt very comfortable throughout our stay, and would recommend this location for anyone visiting the French Quarter. Walking distance to the French Quarter and...

I started staying here shortly after it opened last year. Staff is always pleasant, personal, and efficient. Rooms have tons of space and overall stay is a great value for New Orleans CBD. Walking distance to French Quarter but still out of the craziness there. Great restaurants within walking distance in Warehouse District. I feel like Tanay and Josh are...

A group of 17 of us stayed recently for a wedding in town. We were all very happy with our stay. The accommodations were new and clean and the beds very comfortable. My husband and I had a handicapped accessible room on the top floor and it was spacious and very quiet. I used the gym one morning and it...

We booked last minute for Mardi Gras weekend so it was a good deal (last minute prices). Overall, good stay but some flaws. There are ice machines on floor 2 and 5 only. We were on the 6th floor. It was a busy time so they ran out of towels so we had to wait a while to get more....

Stayed here pre-cruise and enjoyed it. Valet parking is fast and reliable. Short walk to Canal St. and other sites. Staff was great and the rooms are well done on the remodel. Modern with a little jazzy NOLA feel. Breakfast was nice, thank you for having some healthy options. Would stay again.

We had an amazing stay in New Orleans this weekend. This hotel is a great location close to Bourbon Street but far enough away to not be in the midst of the craziness! Joshua was super nice to us and went above and beyond to help me with the jewelry I left at the hotel! Bar and lounge are nice....

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
