Great retro-industrial feel yet modern and cozy. The only thing was dust. Staff awesome, they were very knowledgeable and super friendly(front desk); the valet and room service where kind and polite. Over all the place was awesone.

This is a really cool looking hotel, very funky decor with exposed brick and interesting artwork. The room was clean and well kept but I found the lack of window unnerving! If this could be a problem for you better check first! The restaurant and bar were always busy so don't expect to be able to get a drink on...

I love this hotel. Its quirkiness, tidy feeling, and friendliness are a welcome refuge after a day in the French Quarter. The staff is always friendly, the beds super comfy and the bathrooms and towels spotless. I love all the unique touches that decorate the hotel and despite the high prices, the restaurant is excellent. I have stayed here twice...

This hotel is beautifully done with interesting touches throughout. This was my first stay outside the French Quarter, and I plan on returning. Old No. 77 also has a great location, safely walkable to all the French Quarter and Warehouse/Arts District has to offer. It's really close to some great shopping and they have a terrific "Top Chef" restaurant in...

The location was convenient. The rooms were clean. The staff was nice. The floors creaked & there was a loose nail in the middle of the floor. There was also a stale smell to the room every time you entered the room.

Coolest place to stay. This hotel had so much character compared to any place else I have stayed. The artwork throughout is truly something to see and the gift shop has really unique items to buy. I would highly recommend checking this place out.

The hotel was unique and awesome. If you are looking for a different experience from the chain hotel then I would suggest Old No.77. The location was conveniently close to restaurants and the French Quarter.

It was clean and the employees were friendly and courteous! I like that the hotel was walking distance from French Quarter. I would stay in this hotel again if Icome back to visit! However, I was never called or contacted to let me know my room was ready but overall great hotel

The staff at the Old No. 77 was excellent! They were always attentive and helpful. They gave us great recommendations for places to eat and drink in the area. The hotel itself is awesome. It's filled with local artwork and goods for sale. Our favorite thing was the "Artomat" - an old cigarette machine that dispenses unique art for $5....

I spent two nights at the Old No. 77 Hotel in March 2017 for work. The vibe at the Old No. 77 is very similar to the Ace Hotel in New Orleans -- a vintage building brought back to life in a very artistic, boutiquey way. Unfortunately, these things don't seem to work out all that well once you get...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
