Overall, a very cool place to stay. Restaurant and Staff are great and high-energy. The rooms are well detailed and laid out. My room was interior and only had a shaft out the window plus the lights were too soft. Get one with a window and New Orleans is yours to enjoy!

Just arrived in New Orleans after a long Amtrak journey and what a disappointment this hotel is. The decor is something you will either love, or not love, and I'm afraid I'm not a big fan of the very 'basic' feel of the rooms. Bare floorboards splashed with paint, grey floor tiles in bathroom also splashed with paint which makes...

The hotel is well located, close to french quarter and warehouse district. The furniture and room design are excellent and reminds of great nola. Food is excellent and people are nice and make you feel home. Very good value for money. We definitely reccomend it.

We loved our stay at the Old No. 77! The vibe of the hotel was exactly what we were looking for, and the art was incredible--both in the rooms and in the first-floor gallery. We had one of the best meals of our lives at Compere Lapin, and bought some cool local products in the chandlery. We loved the room...

I really wanted to like this place but they need to work on customer service. It is in a great location, it's right in the Warehouse/Arts District and walking distance to the French Quarter and the Riverwalk. We arrived at the hotel around 12:30 PM and asked the front desk if we could check in early. Regular check-in was at...

We had 3 couples in our party and each had pleasant experiences. The only complain I have is noise. One of our couples was awoken at 4:30am by their neighbors who continued their late night until 7:00am. One of our couples stayed on the first floor and only noticed the lobby noise once during the night. The beds were very...

Overall our stay was great! The staff were all friendly and the decor was very suitable for a couple looking to get away. Our room was next to Storage and it was very noisy throughout the entire night and early morning. But I still recommend the hotel.

The hotel was absolutely amazing, the room we received was exactly on the picture! The staff were very friendly and professional. We had a few hiccups, but nothing that was too too bad, the location was excellent as it wasn't too far from the center but just far enough where you weren't constantly being woken up by noise! The only...

The hotel is cute and so are the rooms. The hallways are a little dirty. The hotel bar is great and the staff is friendly. Our room was overlooking Barcadia so it was noisy until about 3am. Quick walk to the casino and a short walk to Bourbon Street.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
