Great location, walkable to almost every popular places. The restaurant on the 1st floor is nice. I stayed on 3rd floor, I could occasionally hear steps upstairs. The sound was even louder when someone walks by the hallway. I guess it's good enough for a building almost 100-year-old.

It's a beautiful hotel, very good located, near to french quartier but quiet, with comfortable room. The only thing I do not like eas the low pressure shower faucet and the poor illumination in the bathroom

Love this place and stay here every time I'm in NOLA. You can stay in a big box hotel in Cleveland or Hartford...but when you come to NOLA, please stay in a local joint. Great vibe, great ambiance. You won't be disappointed.

I was shocked at the quality of this hotel. I've stayed at budget hotels that offered much better conditions. The shower was nasty, along with the rest of the bathroom. The hardwood floors in the room had crud built up in them. No microwave or refrigerator. You can definitely tell it is an old warehouse turned into a hotel. The...

The place feels like a New Orleans hotel should. Would recommend over any corporate hotel in town. The location is very convenient to many local restaurants and bars also walking distance to the World War II museum.

If you are looking for a hip Holiday Inn, this is your place. Cons: I was expecting a little more so I was not impressed. Walls are thin, I heard the alarm in the room next door go off at 6 a.m. for 5 minutes. The toilet seat slid off the porcelain every time I turned around to get paper...

Room floor was not clean, needed vacuum or dust mop. Otherwise nice location friendly staff. Room was not ready on time. Desk staff was very friendly but must have been Hirt handed on cleaning staff. Good clean bed and comfortable.

Did not feel like a luxury hotel - biggest issue was the noise - hotel is poorly soundproofed. At night the noise from the street was annoying and lasted until late into the night. You can also hear everything in the hallway.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel had an old school vibe with a modern design that made me feel welcome to the city. Located less than 5 mins walking from Bourbon Street, it was in the perfect location for a trip to New Orleans.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
