We cannot speak highly enough about this hotel. From the friendly staff to the views to the excellent food and the clean rooms. The value that this hotel offers is amazing. The breakfast included in the price of the room is fabulous - there is so much choice. And the dinners, while limited to traditional Austrian food are delicious and...

Berggasthof Wallackhaus is located on Grossglockner High Alpine Road in the High Tauern National Park. The drive alone is worth the stay, it takes you from the valley to Berggasthof Wallackhaus which is located at 7550 feet. The hotel was nicely updated, clean and quiet but still kept it's mountain/ski lodge decor. The hotel staff was wonderful from the moment...

First of all the location already makes it quite unique. Then the hotel staff adds to the very positive experience. Last but not least, rooms are simple yet comfortable and spacious, and so is the restaurant with limited choices but freshly cooked dishes (and delicious). Breakfast buffet is generous, overall affordable price. We stayed 1 night only, off season.

Spectacular location. It's located in the middle of the ski slopes. But not just any ski slopes - the ones around are one of the best free-ride, natural slopes. The resort is not super fancy, but the untouched nature, long, various pistes are great. Not so good is the House's service, though. The rooms are basic, painted in weird purple,...

The hotel is really unique with very good food! There are nothing but mountains all around and you feel truly disconnected- something I enjoy during a break. Rooms are nice and cosy and well insulated. We paid just 5000 INR for this hotel in peak season. So it is pretty reasonable if you book in advance Temperature here was as...
