This hotel is well situated to enjoy St. Gilgen, everything is a short stroll away. The church is across the street and is worth a visit. The lake is the highlight, all of the area is a tourist haven. Breakfasts were well presented and generous. A good overnight spot.

Location was good. Close to Christmas market, restaurants and the lake. Staff is very helpful. Room was spacious and bed and bathroom comfortable. The carpet though could use some steam cleaning. Maybe because the colour of the carpet is beige, all the dirt shows and it makes me feel as though nobody vacuum for a long time. WiFi was super...

Location was very good, right in the center of the town, close to shops, restaurants and the lake. Free parking available. For breakfast they had a good variety of food. Very comfortable clean room, great bathroom. But just tiring walking up 3 flights of stairs after a couple of days spent sightseeing

Stayed for 2 nights during late September. The hotel is located 150-200 meteres from the waterfront, which served for beautiful evening and morning strolls. It was decorated with various Austrian niknaks and lamps which gave it an authentic touch. The owner was very friendly and recommended great sights and restaurants in the area. Breakfast in the hotel was very satisfying...

The good news: this is a friendly, clean, comfortable place to stay, right in the very center of charming St. Gilgen. The bad news: You can find the same room elsewhere nearby for less money. If loud, early morning church bells might bother you, this is not the place to stay!

just come back from 3 nights at the Radetzky... at the Christmas advent market. the hotel was spotless..the owners relaxed, kind and friendly.. they made us so welcome. the breakfast was excellent with fresh eggs, meats, a variety of breads and cereal. Lots of coffee and tea offered. We highly recommend and in a central location.

We returned from our trip to Austria three days ago. We stayed in this hotel two nights. And what had happened there...My friend saw a cat in the lobby. He pated it and then took it out . He just took it out of the lobby and put near the entrance. One of the girls (she served breakfast) began to...

Location was very good, right in the centre of the town, close to shops, restaurants and the lake. Free parking available. Breakfasts were unimaginative and the exact same every morning, a little variety would have been nice, especially if your stay is longer than a couple of days. There did not seem to be hot water available other than in...

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Radetzky in St. Gilgen, a quiet charming town on the St. Wolfgang Lake about 30 km. from Salzburg. Rooms were basic, and clean - the bathrooms seemed recently renovated. Beds were comfortable. Our room was carpeted and had a bath, while the room of the couple we were traveling with had a shower...

We are regular travellers to Austria, and booked into the Hotel Radetzky as part of our holiday in the Salzburg area. The hotel was friendly, clean and good value, and centrally situated in the village. We can certainly recommend it for visitors to the area, as it is also situated near the edge of the St Wolfgang lake, and the...
