We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks late June into early July and everything about the hotel was brilliant.
The bedrooms were luxurious and we had a room with a balcony with spectacular views.

The hotel, although claiming to be 4 star is - compared to other 4star hotels we visited - less equipped, for example no fridge or iron in the room. The gastronomy was average, but still good and optimal choice. Room was clean, nice, with balcony...More
I have just come back from a week's stay at this hotel with Inghams. I'd booked a large family room "Schatzberg" and was surprised that there was building works and a large yellow crane right outside my balcony when I had not been notified by...More

Very helpful and friendly owner. Thank you for all your knowledge and kindness, Johann. You are clearly very passionate about your business and people you work with and for. We could see happy faces everywhere.

If you are a smoker you will love this hotel. When we were there, the smell of smoke from the large main bar hit you as you entered the hotel lobby. There is no escaping it in the bar area as non smoking tables and smoking tables are next to each other. The hotel bar is very popular with the locals and smoking didn't seem to be a problem for the hotel management, so I doubt that anything has changed since this Summer, when we were there.
