The woman running the pension was very nice and arranged a baby bed for our daughter last minute even though we had forgotten to mention it in the booking. Breakfast was also a surprisingly large spread for the size of the place. A very nice pension in the center of town.

Stayed here for a week's skiing holiday visiting my friend staying there so only needed a single room. Newly refurbished rooms complete with nice large TV and mini fridge, USB sockets by the bed were a nice touch! Very powerful shower and modern bathroom which was always cleaned extremely well. Breakfast was always delicious, fresh baked rolls every morning and...

We really enjoyed our 3 day hike in Austria. The first and last night we stayed in Pension Rainer. It's a lovely little place, in the center of Ellmau so very convenient for restaurants and shops. We had a room for 2 that had 2 single beds foot to foot. The on suite bathroom was very clean and modern with...

In the center of Ellmau you find this Pension with parking possibility in front of the entrance.Room in the second floor without a lift was no problem as the hostess took our luggage upstairs to the second floor.A nice room with a terrace above the main street suited us well due the coming market. The room would be even nicer if...

My wife & I have been to Ellmau many times before, but always to a Hotel on a Half-Board basis. We wanted the chance to go out more at nights so we looked for a self-catering place & found Pension Rainer on-line. Our booking turned out to be inspired: central location, less than 100m from the very frequent ski-bus, restaurants...

When i booked this Bed and breakfast accommodation through Crystal i was not quite sure what to expect but i must say we were really happy with staying here. The Rooms are basic and in need of updating (This is taking place but will take some time) but are perfectly adequate for the serious skiers or tourists who want to...

This B&B is centrally located in Soll above a ski gear and clothing shop. It is only ten minutes walk from the main lift and ski hire complex and close to several bars and restaurants. However, the decor is dated and in need of modernising. Austrian style beds with an addition sofa bed in our room. Separate bathroom and toilet....

Booked here via Crystal and was pleasantly surprised by the size of our room. Ann Marie who runs the accomadation is a lovely lady with a cheerful smile at all times of the day. The quickest way to the main ski area is via the bus to the Hartkaiser funicular train and with a stop virtually outside it's very easy,...

Pension Rainer is bang in the middle of Ellmau, close to the Skibus stop and a short distance from the nursery slopes and where the kindergarden school is based. The busses run regularly to the HartKaiser furnicular railway to the top of the mountain where the main Ellmau ski runs start. Ski Busses are free and take around 5 minutes...

“All rooms are in front of the main street.Very lively!”
Lemon_tree637, 1 Oct 2015 | Read review
“Our first floor room looked out over the main street but wasn't noisy as it is mainly pedestrian. Having a separate toilet and bathroom is also handy.”
Heresay, 20 Mar 2013 | Read review
“All rooms face the main street through the town and can be noisy both late at night when the bars close and early in the morning when the town starts getting going. Windows are double glazed which helps, but if you like an open window this won't help. There is only 1 single room”
