Small 15 room inn with beautiful views right on a cove of Kahului Bay minutes away from downtown Kailua-Kona on Alii Drive, ocean side. All rooms have kitchenettes and patios overlooking the Bay within 20 feet of ocean. Plain rooms with louvered windows with no...More
I loved this hotel. The staff felt like friends/family. They were gracious and helpful. I felt like they were sharing their home with us. They noticed that the ceiling fan was noisy and provided us with a stand up fan. They said..."Yes - you can...More
This is a fantastic place to stay in Kona if you want to be away from all of the people at the other resorts. We came here for our Honeymoon in 2008 and had to return here again. I love the small feeling, the views,...More
So grateful that we found this hotel many years ago. We have now spoiled ourselves and are very happy in the owners suite ocean front view third floor. During the day we are usually the only guests around as the others are touring.

Our rooms do not have air conditioning. We have ceiling fans above the bed in all rooms. Most of the time, the fans are sufficient, because we are on the ocean and there are breezes, and given adequate ventilation, sleeping is comfortable. However, there are times when it is unusually warm and/or very humid where air conditioning would certainly help. Generally a second fan on the dresser would help in these situations.
The price varies but stays below the average of other seaside hotels considerably. In May 2016 we paid about $135 per night for a room with a kitchenette. Those rooms without a kitchenette were less expensive.
