Very satisfied overall with the facility. No free Wifi. Location is handy to walk to tourist stuff. I would use this place again. On site Luau was fun. Nice balcony with the room and the room was roomy.

We were disappointed with this hotel. The buffet breakfast was nice, the staff friendly. But the place is looking a bit old and tired. It was really noisy with the airconditioning on in the room, a bit like being in a plane and trying to sleep. Our room was near the connecting roof of another tower, so when our cooling...

We needed a hotel to sleep in, shower in, and store our stuff. This hotel is not the fanciest in any way, the beds are not the most comfortable, the wall outlets for charging electronics are very very limited, no bells and whistles in the rooms, but for the location and price, Royal Kona wins if you're staying on the...

This resort is an older property, but kept up as well as can be expected. It is right on the water so you can expect some rust and peeling paint here and there. It is within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants on Ali'i Drive. The pace and vibe in Kona is so laid back compared to Waikiki....

Located right on the ocean, this hotel location makes for some stunning sunsets! The grounds are boasting with beautiful flowers, trees, shrubs and streams. The open air bar and lounge facing the ocean is a great spot to meet people or just sit and relax by the ocean! Free WI-Fi available in the room should have been included in the...

The location is perfect for access to the downtown restaurants and shops. The rooms were very dated, beds were old and a bit musty but really didn't expect much more for the price. At the end day, we would stay here again. We didn't go to Kona to stay in a hotel room and it was centrally located to everywhere...

the price is right ,for this oldie but goodie . It isn't as fancy as some of the other island hotels but combine the price service and location and it very good deal. They offer a luau with hula dancers. The Island is beautiful and you are a short walk from stores and restaurants. If you're on a budget and...

Three large concrete structures comprise this hotel, with ocean-front rooms having a great view. Those on the building sides, not so much, and those facing Alii Drive having nothing much to look out at. We were pleased have been upgraded to a ground-level room with a patio just above the rocky shore of the ocean bay. Our room was clean,...

I have stayed at fancier hotels in my time but I keep returning to the Royal Kona Resort because there is NO better location in Kona, the rooms are large with wonderful views, and the value is fantastic. We spent Christmas week at the hotel and had a great vacation. Plenty of room around the pool, and the separate ocean...
