Spent 4 nights at the Sheraton kona resort found it to be old, tired and dirty. The room was medium sized, smelled like cleaning solvent, carpets spotted and frayed, deck was dirty with two chairs one with a cushion and one without, the chair without the cushion had a wasps nest attached to it but no wasps. Included in the...

Aloha, recently stayed at the Sheraton Resort & Spa Kona October 21st – 24th 2016. The hotel is located roughly 6 miles from the main town centre of Kona. We had a hire car to check out Hawaii Volcano National Park so that made it easy for us. They do offer a trolley as part of the resort fee which...

The hotel design and is good, the staff are also helpful. But the price is super expensive, e.g., they charge you $5 for a bottle of water. Moreover, the food has the same problem, you can get the trolley and get a good food with reasonable price in the city. Moreover, the internet quality is poor

This place is a dump. As an SPG platinum I was ashamed that this is what they're calling a Sheraton. The room was gross and dated, the hallways loud the elevators take FOREVER, the lounge was useless, food so so. Service was poooooor, room cleaned on day 1 after 3pm? What the actual f... I booked this resort as part of a package deal. We were out enjoying the island most of the time so we weren't even at the resort except to sleep, they still managed to screw up our stay. Our room had cockroaches in it, our shower broke the first night we were here, our key card didn't work and we...

My theory is that this is not a real Sheraton. Consider the following: * A real Sheraton would not have bell-hops that were rude to you when you first arrived. * A real Sheraton would program your room key cards right the first time. * A real Sheraton would have Wi-Fi that worked. (McDonald's can do it!) * A real...

1) No welcome service. My wife was expecting a flower garland as a welcome reception. She was disappointed. 2) BATHROOM NEEDs UPDATE - NOW - CHECK PHOTO 3) Pool has a very big water slide for kids, but it closes at 6:00pm. Kids were disappointed for not able to use it as we came back from our day trip after...

Nice hotel but lets get the warning out of the way. There is a $30 per day per room resort fee plus $15 per day parking. I got the kids there own room so upon arrival I was out an extra $300 before we did any activities. The resort fee covered things I would have expected to be included like...

Where do I start? Pros: nice pool and waterslide. Awesome view. Cons: hotel double charged our credit card and refused to listen when we explained there was an error. Was told it must be our banks problem as there is no way it could be their system. Noise was a serious issue. Our room was next to the elevator and...

We had read all the hype about seeing manta rays if we came to eat at Rays on the Bay at the Sheraton Kona Resort. We made our reservation at the best time in the evening but the sea was too dark and the waves were too rough and soaking for people even to stand at the edge to try...

Mahalo for your recent review. We are sorry to hear you were not able to see any of the Manta Rays that come near to shore to feed at night on plankton in front of our Restaurant Rays on the Bay. As with mother nature and these gentle giants being a wild species, you can never predict when they may...
