Hotel has its own beach access, swimming pool, multiple conference rooms, restaurants, shops and plenty of lunge areas for guests to relax. It is centrally located right by the stores and restaurants strip, it offers convenience and plenty of activities to keep you occupied. The only drawback is no room services.

We recently stayed here for five nights on our inaugural trip to the Big Island. Kona itself is nothing special - like any tropical resort - but it is close to the airport and a convenient base for exploring the island. The property is pleasant, although a bit shopworn in areas. Our room needed some maintenance, and the gym could...

Aloha, Thank you for sharing your comments about the unpleasant incident you encountered at the pool bar. I sincerely apologize for the manner in which the situation was handled. I have already spoken with the department heads of my Security and Food and Beverage divisions to revise their plans of how to handle belligerent customers and remove them from the...

We only stayed one night but will be back. The hotel is close to everyting on Alli Dr. Splashers and Fish Hopper were great places to eat. The pool bar at the hotel was fun and a great hamburger is served there. The "seafood buffet" on Friday night at the King was also a good eating experience, we will be...

This location was prime! Across the street was splasher's grill which was perfect for breakfast. Along the waterfront had many food options too. The Kona Boys rental on the beach and the connected ABC store was very convenient. Cheap water, good snacks. The hotel room was very clean, sufficient towels, and friendly staff. The parking was never an issue, tons...

Stayed here for a family wedding and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The room with partial ocean view is very lovely. Rooms are a good size with comfortable bed/beds. Staff poolside are great especially Sheila. Easy walking distance along the strip for restaurants, bars and shopping.

This was a wonderful place to relax in paradise for my son and I during Spring Break. The hotel is situated on historic lands connected with King Kamehameha and the hotel does a wonderful job of displaying many paintings and artifacts that tell the story of the lands and people connected with this rich historical location. Check-in was a nice...

My family and I wanted to see the big island of Hawaii, and the main tourist town on the island is Kona, which is where this is located. If I had one word for the hotel itself and the amenities it would probably be average. The hotel itself had average rooms. The bathrooms are on the smaller end, and the...

Aloha, I apologize that your stay at our hotel did not meet your expectations. It is obvious that you were expecting more of a resort type property than a hotel. While we strive to provide a flawless experience for every guest we serve, sometimes we are not able to due to their level of expectations. Again, our apologies for not...

The only thing I don't like it the shipping doc that the beach/water of the hotel shares. Other than that the rooms are clean, the location is good and there is a plenty to do around the area. It's good value.

So as a loyal Marriott guy decided to book this place. Upon checking in its obvious this place needs some help. The inside although decorated nicely had several shops and stands connected within the lobby, one of which was a reseller of jewelry which had been confiscated by police. Other "store" fronts were empty which added to the run down...
