The perfect guest house for a family getaway, friends weekend or a special event. The Vue is centrally located in Downtown Seward, spotlessly clean, has a great central kitchen (perfect to gather around with old and new friends) very comfortable and nicely appointed rooms and all the amenities. Most of all the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Such a great stay, we’ll be back!
We stayed in this hotel for one night, and it was a very nice space. It's close to downtown, and the rooms are spacious and well appointed. The kitchen was large and had everything you would need to cook meals in terms of tools and equipment. Some items to note (although they aren't bad, just FYI): -The kitchen has cereal, but you'll need to provide your own milk -Because there is no door from the downstairs to the upstairs, sound really carries in the space Overall, this was a very pleasant experience for my family!
I live in Seward and had my elderly aunt come to stay and did not have room for her. This place was great, Awesome view, clean rooms full kitchen. My aunt loved it. You can see the bay and the mountains. You can't go wrong with this location and great service.
We enjoyed the concept of making our own breakfast at a time of our choosing. Some tours required us to leave very early and other days we could sleep in. The kitchen is well stocked with eggs, bacon, pancake mix, milk, etc. to make a hot breakfast or a good selection of cereals, muffins, Eggos, etc. if you want something quicker. We had the West Room. East room and ours are on the ground floor and there are one or two rooms upstairs. Our room had a limited view, but was excellent in every other way. Lots of room for two with a couch for watching TV and movable tables so one could eat or drink easily on the couch. It was possible to close a door separating the large bed from the couch which could also be a bed. Might be of use for some. There seem to be at least three doors from the outside and the supplied code only works for the one they post your name on the day you arrive. Not really a problem but you need to know to circle the house to find your door.…
My husband and I stayed at The Vue for eight days during our trip to Seward. It was wonderful! The room was comfortable and spacious as there was a closet with a dresser, a bedroom and a living room. From our living room on the lower level we could see the mountains. The breakfast area is a nice sized kitchen with a variety of options to choose from. Every day our room was cleaned and ready for us once again after our days of exploring the area. We also liked that is was a short walk to the waterfront downtown or to the boardwalk area. We highly recommend The Vue to anyone staying here in Seward.
