My brother lives in Anchorage and we stayed here the night before a fishing expiditon. It was super nice, if we did not have relatives in Alaska we could have easily stayed her for a week and used that as our "base" to see the things we wanted to see. I did not meet or see the owners my sister in law took care of the booking and such. But super clean, quiet and not far from "downtown.
We stayed here for 2 nights following a cruise so we could explore the Kenai Fjords National Park. We didn't have a car but it was really easy to get to via the free shuttle or local taxi. The location was great for being close to the local restaurants and a laundromat. The rooms were comfortable and quiet and we made use of the kitchen for breakfast in the mornings. The owner, Pete, was super nice and helped us call our tour guides for the next day since we had no cell service in Seward. He even gave us bear spray to use on our trip that some other patrons had left behind.
