The management had given away our rooms to other guests without communication of any kind. We had made full payment months in advance. Terrible service. By the time we arrived they told they had given away our rooms! Trying to make money by double selling the rooms, hoping people don't show up!

Hidden among the evergreens, just off the road to Exit Glacier was our quaint accommodations. These were immaculately maintained and perfect upon arrival. The queen sized bed was extremely comfortable and the full sized refrigerator was a pleasant surprise. The private en-suite bathroom was spacious and had excellent water pressure. This place had everything we could have hoped for with the full kitchen range, refrigerator with ice maker & hairdryer. This place was a diamond compared to some of the vintage accommodations in town for twice as much money. We will most definitely be staying here again.

Avoid this hotel 1. Did not honor reserved room rate 2. Demanded a much higher room rate to retain reservations 3. Room under construction 4. Poor service. This hotel does not treat customers well and should definitely be avoided when visiting Seward

Pros: new lodging, clean rooms, comfortable bed, kitchen and sitting/closest space provided Cons: noisy (you can have every footstep, toilet flush, car pull up and noise from surrounding units), odd layout quirks (light from kitchen appliances shone direct onto bed at night), no adequate temperature regulation, bare bones (no wifi information provided - had to message and ask), no guest reception for such questions, no extras (hair dryer, blankets...items found at most places). When I reached out about a potential move in rooms to one in a less busy area, I recieved a quick (no, sorry we are full) but no other acknowledgment of issue or concern). Bottom line: nice, bare bones place. But, due to the noise and temperature and quirks, we could not sleep well. And sleep was our main goal. We'd look elsewhere on a return visit.

Really close to downtown Seward, the kitchens in unit are the secret weapon, dining in Seward can be hella expensive and we were able to keep our costs down by eating out only once a day. Very clean and nice and the check-in process was a breeze which is great because flights to Alaska get in at weird times. Would definitely stay here again!
